is this worth it?

ok well i have made hundreds of lists and thoughts on breeding clowns i have a 29 gallon clown/ anemone tank and i figure if i can get my pair to breed i will either try them or give the eggs to david M (he's local) so anyways after having advice from an expert(Dave) i was told 6 10 gallons for little guys would be adaquite but for the present and anywhere near future i cant affor the costs or space for this many tanks so what i was wondering is if it is possible to breed clowns and raise the fry in a SINGLE ten gallon aquarium no sump just a heater and a false wall with bio balls and maybe a skimmer in the back???

please let me know

thanks
xavier

gemini aquarius(t)

I am by far not an expert, but I have a batch of true's at 29 days in the same 10 gal tank. I drilled the center and installed a standpipe that I just had 1 in PVC in until after meta. 10-12 days. I then added a sponge filter, like an oceanic overflow kit, and have a small hank on filter running. Seems to be working so far with water changes, so I guess if you skip a few spawns, or give away and focus on one batch at a time you can have some success and gain a ton of experience. Just a thought...Carl

Xavier, of course you can raise a single batch in a ten gallon tank, but your'e gonna have a new nest every 12 days or so and your'e gonna want to raise them too

If you want some practice I have more nests than I can deal with. I'll give you one.
