Yes, our hotel is about 1KM (0,6 mile) from the 2 hotels that are bombed. The old market is about 12km (7,5 miles) from the hotel.
I hear 2 stories. 1 is terrorism and 2 has to do with the King of Egypt who wants to get his son in his place and the free way of live in Sharm el Sheikh. If you want to know where it happend, click this link: Map of Sinai Desert and click on Na'ama bay. Our hotel is next to number 8 (Lido hotel). Hotel number 3 was bombed.... Dennis
