Fin Rot?

My tank is about 2 months old, and i just recently put in a pair of false percula clowns. Over a period of 3 days, the tail of one of them fell completely off and now all it has is the bone. Suprisingly it is still alive. The first day it was fine, it looked like it had a nip in its tail. The second day it was all shredded and much of the tail was missing. Today i came to find the tail completely gone except for the bone. I started a treatment of mela fix and stress coat to try to help it rebuild its tail, and I gave it a freshwater bath.... any other suggestions would be very helpful. All i have in the tank(20 long) are the two fish, snails, 2 hermit crabs, myesis shrip-live rock, and a a small coral... nothing to attack it. please help!

What are your water test parameters for ammonia, nitrite and pH?

Do you have a hospital tank, or could you set one up? I recommend you get the affected clown into a hospital tank and treat with antibiotics. Saltwater Maracyn-Two is good and make sure you complete the course.
