Acrylic

Anbody have some small pieces of acrylic sheet laying around (12"X12" or bigger) and maybe some weld on. I'm making a pillar with acrylic rod and didnt want to buy a whole sheet. Thanks

You should be able to buy smaller pieces. I work at Lowe's and we sell 12x12 pieces for a few bucks.

menards as well. glass shops sometimes have some scraps for cheap, but that helps if you know someone or have done some biz at one before.

Thanks for the help I will check them out tomorrow. Is there anyplace local to get weld on?

i've never seen it in store anywhere. again a glass or plastic shop is going to be your best bet. not sure what you'll find on a saturday though. i'm almost positive that the big boxes won't have it though.

Lowe's doesn't have it - neither does Home Depot (no - I can't be fired for going in there! ).

When I need oddball stuff, I usually hit the smaller hardware stores and cross my fingers - Kruegers, Ace, Kitz and Pfiel....
