The first and second pics are Amphipods 3rd ??? 4th I see bristle worms Amiphods are some of the most common and important microcrustaceans in the marine aquarium they are efficent scavengers and a very nutritious prey. bristle are good scavengers too just don't touch bristles

pic 1 and 2 look like pods.pic 3 hard to to tell and pic 3 not sure what but i think i see sundail snails which do like zoos. Heres an id site that may help. But i would think there closed cause the tanks only 1 month old.
Do you know your water readings? Amount of LR and LS? Powerheads used from amount to model and any other equipment? http://www.melevsreef.com/id/

Those definitely look like sundial snails. And I would bet that is your culprit.

I can't guarantee that you don't have some sundial snails eating your zoanthids, but I can guarantee you that little snail in the pic isn't one. It's a Collonista/Homalopoma, and as you thought, it's in the Turban Snail family. It's an algae eater.
I can't tell very much about the critter in the pic with your finger or thumb. Does it have a shell? Cheers, Don |
