Nova Extreme T5 48W or Coralife PC 96W ?
I have a 20 G High, the tank height is 16". Mostly softies and a few small LPS located midway to the top of the tank.
Currently I am running a Coralife Quad PC fixture at 96W. All my corals are happy. I want to cut bulb cost in the long run and more efficient power usage. I have been considering on swapping out the light with the Nova Extreme T5HO 2 x 24W from DFS. Will the T5 puts out the same amount of par as the Coralife PC fixture ? I don't need more, I just don't want less par with the T5's. Thanks in advance stan PS: I am not looking to spend a lot on this tank lighting, so I am not conisdering the Tek or other costly brand. |

the T5HOx2 will not punch out as much light as your PC 96w. I had one and did like it.

www.fishneedit.com p.s I am in no way related to this site. just trying to help out a fellow reefer. :-)
