RO/DI correct ppm for water
just got a tds meter fr my RO/DI unit wanna know what range the ppm should be to determine the water quality?

were you looking to test the effectivness of your unit, or just looking for the 0 number as already provided?

You should get about 95% rejection out of the ro membrane, so only 5% TDS should be coming out of the clean side of the RO membrane into the DI, the DI should polish all of this excess and leave the water at 0 TDS.
Example, if your tap water has a 140 TDS reading (not uncommon) you should only get 7 TDS out of the RO membrane, then goes into the DI cartridge and becomes 0. Hope that helps |
