Peppermint Sprimp safe in a Refuge?

I just got a live refuge from another reefer and it has a huge aiptasia problem..

The refuge has lots of pods, worms and macro algae that I don't want to loose.

If I put 1-2 peppermint shrimp in there will they eat the pods and worms?

Would I be better off trying to find a Nubibranch?

I'd like to figure this out quickly.. the little monsters are invading the main tank.

There was a video on ReefVideos and it said that aiptasia in a sump helps to keep the water "clean" because it filters.

Find the atlantic black tailed ones...they seem to go after the apistasia's more than their pacific cousins
