Big Mistake Copper In Main Tank
I just built a sump Saturday and used 3 brass fittings. Which i didnt know is similiar to dosing your tank with copper. My corals look all messed up and all my snails died. Im in the process of getting the rock out in another container. WHAT ARE THE PROCEDURES TO RID MY TANK, CAN IT STILL BE SAVED?

I would run some PolyFilters and carbon. Also, some large (30%) water change are in order.

Bertoni, thank you---I'm going to put the url of the discussion in the newbie forum...with pix.
I feared to advise nmh to do too little; I also fear advising too much. http://archive.reefcentral.com/forum...readid=1264947 Your input would be invaluable...and may save nmh some work and expense if the damage can be limited. I'm worried about that cloudiness, that the sandbed may be gone.

If any ammonia starts registering, some Amquel or Prime might help.
