Talking Do Nothing Day

I did absolutely nothing today! Kids had a karate class this morning. Once that was over, Jena and I went for a manicure and pedicure, had lunch and then took a nap!

I'm going to make seafood fettucini for dinner, put my pj's on and watch some chick flicks.

Hubby is gone deer hunting for the weekend so I have the bed to myself.

WOOT. I love do nothing days

I cleaned my office (sort of). Tomorrow we're of to Point Reyes National Seashore, so I have some prep to do tonight. I hope the stoopid oil spill hasn't bollixed things up too much.

ms. dkh and her daughter went and are still, shopping. My son went somewhere for the weekend. I raked the leaves and napped.

And since I was the only one here - I went wild and pee'd with the bathroom door open.

I moved all the belongings of my best friend who died 2 weeks ago. It was a sad day.

I did nothing. I did absolutely nothing and it was everything I thought it could be.

I watched Saturday morning cartoons until late in the morning. I got groceries (but didn't pay, nor did I carry the basket), and returned home for a massage and an afternoon nap.

Well yesterday it was swimming class for the girls bright and early, come home let the doggies out, then we went out to lunch, tripped over to the mall, got the girls haircuts, watched the Bee Movie, did some clothes shopping for them and came home. Busy day but relaxing.
Today we'll be house bashing. Err...Knocking plaster off the walls.

I spent the last 2 days with nausea. Wanted to puke but never could. I feel better today and finally got my internet back. Think maybe I was have net withdrawals. Today I'm babysitting my nephew as I do every Sunday.

Fun weekend with friends (efroggies and her hubby up from C-bus) just hanging out. Lazing around, playing some games, watching TV, did a little shopping yesterday...much the same today. I'm cooking a sirloin tip roast for dinner tonight. YUM!

And I have taken the whole week off!!! Need to finish cutting firewood and work on PVC for our sump pump that I just installed in the garage with a work friend a couple weeks ago. Hopefully that will prevent any future flooding.

Other than that, I'm taking it easy this week!!! Massive amounts of video gaming and vegging out!

I have to take the kids running today and then go to the grocery store. I'm going to make a pot roast for dinner and do some laundry. I'll have to clean up a little bit today since I did nothing yesterday. Not going to worry about the house too much though since we're going away for Thanksgiving and no one will see it.

Oh, VR, I'm so jealous you have the whole week off!!!!! Just to sleep late for seven consecutive days sounds wonderful.

Well, I've been sort of sidelined with this back - it's now manifested itself into a pinched sciatic nerve running down my left leg. Two vicodin every six hours is the only thing that's getting me out of bed every day. Had an MRI on Friday so we'll find out tomorrow what the prognosis is. So, that being said, I'm sitting on my arse today watching football games.

Aliie, sorry to hear you've not been feeling well - I have a daughter home this weekend with an upset tummy, so perhaps something is going around. Hope you're feeling better by Thursday - don't want to miss Thanksgiving dinner!!!!!

Cleaned the tank, made the lasagna that we are having for dinner and raked the yard again.

Nap next on the list and 4:00 PM watch the Steeler game.
