Thumbs up Tank Update time!

Hey everyone. Inlight of all the "bad blood" going around the mars forum, i decided to take a day off the boards and snap some pics. My camera skills are very sub par, but i did my best. There isnt good white balance adjustment on the camera i used and im currently running a 250w 20k with no attinics. Just thought i would share some pictures. Any suggestions would be apprecated.

My DIY canopy for my 250w retrofit. Still needs sanding, trim pieces, and paint.

If i ever figure out how to get pictures with "True color" on them, i will be able to trade out some of these zoa frags

I just thought this was cool.....

The first picture was taken August 26 2007. The tank was a present to myself for quiting smokeing. I figured i could take all the cash i was useing for smokes to get a SW tank like i alwase wanted. I did have to get rid of my freshwater 55, but ill get it back one of these days .

Thanks everyone!

Sheila - Ya, i was around 2 packs a day. I purchased the tank, stand, and rock with the cash i got out of my Wii. Sump, koralias, livestock and everything else was purchased with my smoke money or mars raffles .

Yoboyjdizz - Lol, i dont know. Just took a picture with the flash on one day and said WOW, howd that happen .

Premium Purple.......thats a good one.

"Yup, she's all dialed in, just got 'er tuned up and added the premium purple corraline algae, sure its a little more per gallon, but she's worth it."

Great job, keep on keepin' on.

Shoulda stuck with the smoking. It causes less marriage trouble and costs less. Besides, the FDA is about to include this warning with all aquariums and aquarium accessories:
WARNING may cause sleeplessness, irritability, and obsessive compulsive behavior. Side affects include- low funds, reefcentral, and occasional wet web media.

If you're using the "Auto" function on your cam like I do most of the time.... Make sure the cam is pointed at your tank up close before you first turn in on..... That way the automatic white balance will get it way closer if not perfect.

BTW... Great progress. Great sucess.

Nice, Bobby. I saw those crabs at Exotic yesterday. Very interesting. Who made the frag plugs, Bobby?
