OT- MS Word help

Ok- We're making our STDs (save the dates) for our wedding and having some problems saving a textbox in word as a gif or jpg to upload them as a file.

I've tried saving it as a webpage but it skews the textbox. Its MS Word 2000. Any suggestions?

You mean you are trying to save the word doc, and then turn that file into a gif or jpg?

What steps are you taking to create and save the textbox?

I agree with exporting them as a PDF, that should retain your document structure.

The steps for using the Free Acrobat Reader are kind of a PITA as you have to install a postscript printer etc...

The easiest option with out having to purchase software would be to install OpenOffice as it has a DOC to PDF conversion utility.

You could also head over to your closest apple retailer and purchase a nice shiny apple computer that comes factory with PDF Support

very primitive, but you can hit CTRL+print screen with the word doc open. Then open up ms paint and paste it in. This takes a screen capture and then you use paint to save it as an image. If you want to go the Adobe route send me a pm, i have Acrobat writer and only takes 2 seconds to do.

Thanks guys. I ended up going over to my brother's and using his scanner to save it in. Appreciate the feedback.
