worthless dog

This was my old yellow lab, a friend found this picture & sent it to me last night
mooch has been gone about 6 yrs (age 12 1/2) and I think he was about 4 in this picture

goofball would sleep like that & at least once a summer would get a bad sunburn on his belly (among other things )

Callie sleeps that way.

You want to talk useless. Callie snagged a pork tenderloin off the counter last night when no one was looking.

the only thing mooch ever took destroyed was a pair of cowboy boots

the left boot one of a set of hand made made full quill ostrich

the right boot of a set of hand made python

I was ready to kill him, but one look at that face... I couldn't...

Good boy, you should have rewarded him!

I wasn't "cowboying" in those boots, they were oilfield executive footwear "power" boots
the more expensive a pair of boots you could wear on the rig & not care if they were destroyed in the mud, oir & chemicals, the more important you were

So my Redwings ain't gonna cut it huh?

My yellow is coming up short now. She is at my side all day and night. Yes, she comes to work with me. Lays next to my desk here, and at home. Gotta help her into the car now, but that's OK...she's earned it. As long as she is comfortable and happy...

I was as bad as "shoe girl" for a few years, although most of my boots were "gifts" from subcontractors & suppliers
there was a boot allowance line item on my monthly expense account, I only went over 1K one month, big boss wasn't happy
but my feet were!
