First acropora - question
This past Saturday I received my first acropora from Marine Depot. I epoxied it to a rock and have what I think is "decent" water flow for it. It's now been 5 days and it seems like it's began to "shed" something. A few of the branches have a stringy web like substance hanging off of them. Is this due to me handling it? Does it shed it's skin like a leather?
I'm in the midst of fighting some flatworms (just added a wrasse to help) and I've noticed that same type of stringy substance seems to be related to them. Any thoughts? |

A picture would really help. Sounds like it could be sliming or RTN could have started.

agree, sounds like slime or RTN. has it lost color/ turned white in any spots?
pics would answer alot of ?
