Talking Things not to say to a cop

NEVER SAY TO A COP

1. I can't reach my license unless you hold my beer. (OK in Texas)

2. Sorry, Officer, I didn't realize my radar detector wasn't plugged in.

3.Aren't you the guy from the Village People?

4. Hey, you must've been doin' about 125 mph to keep up with me. Good job!

5. Are You Andy or Barney?

6. I thought you had to be in relatively good physical condition to be a police officer.

7. You're not gonna check the trunk, are you?

8. I pay your salary!

9. Gee, Office r! That's terrific. The last officer only gave me a warning, too!

10. Do you know why you pulled me over? Okay, just so one of us does.

11. I was trying to keep up with traffic. Yes, I know there are no other

cars around.. That's how far ahead of me they are.

12. When the Officer says "Gee ....Your eyes look red, have you been drinking?" You probably shouldn't respond with,"Gee Officer your eyes look glazed, have you been eating doughnuts?"

To my knowledge No. 1. NOT okay in TX since around 2002. Passed an open container law.

Trust me this is especially true during Spring Break in South Padre (where I lived for almost 6 years) TABC really cracked down one year and made it nearly impossible for the kids to have fun. In So. Padre alone there were over 70 TABC (who were NOT afraid to pull there guns or go into motel rooms without permission) officers taking beer from people as they left the stores.

1. is definitely NOT okay in TX anymore.

Actually it wasn't me-as I do NOT drink-only very very rarely as I can not stand the taste of alcohol. I lived there and worked there. I have no problems with any open container law or any other law pertaining to alcohol.

We made enough money off of those breakers to make it through the rest of the year!

So if you must feel sorry for someone- please make it someone ELSE.

Revenge is sweet

I stopped a guy for speeding aprx 85 in a 70,I had no real intention of writing him a speeding ticket just, "Fishing", for warrants, drugs etc. I talk to the driver from the passenger side window, where his wife is seated. His wife was rude, obnoxious and basically being a B&%# to me. I told the guy his wife was about to get him a ticket, he in turn said everything to his wife that I only wished I could.

Come to think of it I might of caused a domestic down the road
