My lousy luck!

Well, its now 1:20am and my power just came back on. Wouldn't you know the day I travel down to New Rochelle to pick up a bunch of new fish for my FOWLR tank I get home to find the power has been out for 2 hours. Evidently some lines went down in the neighborhood.

Needless to say I've spent the past 5 hours since I got home trying to keep my current tanks from going south. Heating water on my wood burning stove and agitating the surface of the tanks (another thing I discovered was my battery powered air pumps are all shot as a result of corroded batteries.) Make sure you check yours out.

The tanks got as low as 70 degrees and I keep them normally at around 76, so I'm hoping all will be OK. Now I need to spend the next couple of hours reheating my quarantine tanks and getting my new fish that have been patiently sitting in a 5 gallon bucket into the tanks after a nice fresh water dip.

Oh well. Should have known.

BTW, I picked up some nice fish.

1 potters angel
3 square anthias
1 juvinile emperor
1 racoon butterfly

Hope they all make it through this.

Do you still have any interet in an eel for the aggressive tank? Or is this the tank it would be going in?

Thanks everyone,

Everything looked OK this morning before the lights were on. I'll check when I get home and see if anything's up. My biggest concern was with my sps and this morning everything still had good polyp extension and colors hadn't changed. After everything was said and done I managed to get to bed by 2:30, so not so bad.

Chris, Yeah, finally made it to make the purchase. Still have $17 left!!!

OK, Yes I've been meaning to get back to you on the snowflake. I'll PM you.
