Spiky purple coralline?

I have what looks very much like a roundish patch of purple coralline growing on one of my rocks but it has spikes on it & on the tip of each spike are little furry almost velvet like hairs. It’s about 1 /2in around and has gotten larger since I noticed it 3 weeks ago. What the heck is this thing?

I couldn’t get a picture of it that showed the spikes so I tried to draw it
Sry for the bad pic

It's hard & is growing flat on the rock like coraline but I have never seen any with spikes

Coralline does spike on occassion as i've noticed it on my overflow. The 'furry' tips you describe could be algae of some sort growing on the tips. Just my .02 worth

I touched the thing & it is not a sponge it is hard like stone & has no visible openings. The spikes appear to be collecting food with the fuzz on the tips, I just feed my mushrooms & the food is collecting on the tips of the spike. It is growing just like a coralline but it is just a little bit thicker & has the spikes with fuzz on the very tips.
Don’t think it’s gsp the fuzz is hardly visible & the purple part is like a rock

I do have a sponge like SWINGRRRR has but it's orange insted of purple I also have a pink & an orange encrusting sponge and 2 orange pufball sponges growing on the rock with the spiky thing along with some purple & red coralline. The rock came with the shrooms.

Possibly Homotrema which is a foram like 07kar93 suggested. They're harmless filter feeders.
