My desjadini's a handicap

i bought a desjadini tang about 2 wks now...when i brought it home i found out he has a coordination problem..he cant seem to grasp food as quickly or accurately as other fish...he'd miss all the time..it's like for every speck of food he successfully downed he'd miss 10 times....hope he'd get better with time cuz i hate to see him starve..by any chance any1 here has the same problem and your fish get better >?

I have seen tangs go blind due to prolonged exposure to high nitrates. This is usually evident by the fish swimming in circles. Check the tank he came from - I should think you checked out his eating ability when you got it. Test our nitrates and keep them low perhaps this tang might improve on its own in time.
