T5H0 color change?
Can one visually see a color change in T5HO bulbs? Doing research on my planted freshwater tank I've read that the human eye doesn't perceive light as tank inhabitants would but I'm not sure if this applies to my reef tank.
We turned over our 9 month old Current Outer Orbit HQI/T5HO hood last night and the one daylight T5H0 looked pink. Does this mean it's toast? I wasn't sure if the light wasn't in properly or it was time to replace it. Thanks for taking the time to read this and reply. |

I know if you put a 2 month old UVL Actinic next to a brand new one, the new one has more blue and appears brighter. However, now that about two more months have passed, they both appear the same. I'm sure they're fine now, but I did find that interesting...

The light is a Current USA SlimPaq 54 watt T5HO 420nm Actinic.
In the hood are two 420nm Actinic bulbs and two 460nm bulbs. |
