Stocking an 120g tank with Fairy Wrasses
My next tank will be a bb tank mainly - sps dominated - After being completely entranced by the beauty of these gorgeous fish I would like to make this tank be pre-dominately stocked with fairy wrasses.
Fairy Wrasse recommendations please. How do these fish do in stronger current? The closest thing to Fairy Wrasses are my Lyretail Anthias - one supermale and one female.

Are the lyretails going to be with the fairies? If so there is a good chance they will bully the wrasses.
To answer your question on current my carpenters loved the flow but also seemed to need a low current area to rest. Recommendations. Obviously I love the flashers. I currently have one in QT with a labouti. I plan on adding either a lineatus or a rhomboid but not both. Heard too many stories of rhomboids killing lineatus. Look through the fairy wrasse picture thread at the top. Bronco7777 has many fairies and recently he posted how he currently has his tanks stocked. Lots of nice ones out there. Bronco's advice to me was mix up colors, patterns and sizes. With most docile going in first. |

I'd highly recommend the carpenteri. They're quite docile pretty easy on everything. Next to all the green chromis I've had over the years, this is possibly the most reef safe fish I've owned. |

I can leave the lyretails where they are now. I can see creating less current on the sides and possible in the back. My anthias for the most part don't particularly like high current and hide underneath the rocks when resting.

I have lyretails with several different types of wrasses. There is no problems including with new additions.
