Marcorocks. a review

I paid 2.44/lb including shipping. got 100lbs.

holy crap...

you wouldnt believe how light dry rock is... Im talking crazy light. its gotta be atleast double the volume of rock of what I expected for 50#.

the boxes it came in, packaged tightly, would fill my 75gallon tank. I havent placed it yet, and Im not sure how Im going to. its a TON of rock!

heres some pictures, this is NOT cherry picks. some peice are small, and there are atleast 3 peices I would categorize as Large. but every one of them is very very nice looking. no duds at all. very happy about that.

make note, this is 50#. I have not yet opened the 2nd box. this is 120$ worth of rock right here. or at my local fish store, 1 live rock, maybe 2 lol.

for whatever reason you have to click it... I put tags on it but its not working.

cant link pics in this subforum I guess.

theres the end product, needs some tinkering. I struggled to use all the rock, and i failed.

100lbs of baserock would be enough to pretty much fill a 75gallon tank to the brim. I have 6 medium peices an 2 large peices left over from what you see in there.

I just cant possibly fit any more.

it is VERY light. like, balsa wood comes to mind. the biggest rocks there weigh MAYBE 5 lbs. when you put them in the water, they will bubble for 5minutes. its actually a very attractive effect. when they first go in, they are borderline buoyant.

My only complant is that they haven't had rubble in stock since I came to the conclusion that I should buy from them for my 4 gallon dark pod fuge. My 40 lbs is in the mail right now, 15# tongan and 25# figian, I'llbesure to post pictures here and in a thread I will write about my fuge later.
