Good Skimmer

What would be a good skimmer for a Fish Only with small amounts of Live Rock and a Power filter. Its a 58 Gal I plan on having a Picasso Trigger and MAYBE a dwarf lionfish.

Thanks

if you need a hob the turboflotor 1000 mulit works well...i think they run 250ish at premiumaquatics.com

i always had dark green skimmate......the prizms are cheap but i had to include that in there....if money is no object i dont think you can go wrong with the turboflotor 1000 MULTI

niko5 .............actually I just packed my Prizm Pro Deluxe back into the box after 4 months of use. I got tired of fiddling with it although it did skim well on occasion. I'd recommend the Aqua C Ramora. If you do a search here you will find that it comes highly recommended and would be plenty of skimmer for that 58gal. tank.

Not to change the subject, but I'd suggest not adding the dwarf lion to the setup that you're proposing.
The dwarfs are very sedentary with the Picasso extremely active and odds of it "picking" at the orange LR are very high.
Predatory and aggressive are two VERY different things, and your selection is a prime example of this and the extremes that can be illustrated.
You'd be better served to add a larger dottyback (assuming that you have enough LR for cover) or wrasse that can and will resist being bullied.

Thanks M.Dandaneau,
I dident really think the Picasso would bother the lion so much. Thanks for that bit of info. I may just stick with the Picasso alone Ied rather have a light bio load and no fights hehe

Thanks for the info on the skimmer too now I just need to find someone trying to get rid of an AquaC

Bakpaks are decent (very inexpensive), but, go with the AquaC if you can afford it. If not (and I've owned both) I think a bakpak w/ a maxi-jet perfroms better than a prism.
