Rod's Food

Hey everyone-
I'm looking to try some of the Rod's Food for my clownfish and was just wondering what LFS might have it in stock for sure- and preferrably closest to the city. The website says that not all the stores are listed, so I thought I would check here first. Thanks!

Best bet is to call the store you want to make sure it's in stock:

Got mine from Planet Reef. Did not think the price was two bad. It has been a month and I still have over a 1/3 of it left. I am feeding 10 fish in my 120Gallon tank. Not bad breaks out to like 50-60 cents a day. For that price it has to be 2 doll arms and a doll leg.

Break off a piece about half the size of my thumb nail, thaw in some tank water, and feed....

I got hte large pack, think it is $18.95 at PR. I thought that was an ok price myself. Lasts a long time unless you overfeed....

I always had problems getting a good mix of things. There was one time when I broke off a piece and dropped in 2 large pieces of shrimp. The smaller fish just "ran" from them. A few others tore it to pieces. I still am not sure if I am over or under feeding. Those little buggers are ALWAYS hungry. I walk by the tank and they all swim out looking up even if it is a few minutes after feeding. Also, with Rod's food. Does it loose it's effectiveness after a while. I think my batch has frostbite. The fish eat it, just not like it's crack like they used to.
