Angry We Got Worms

We used Flatworm Exit and they are back.

Why do so many people dislike FWE?
What do people do instead of using this product?
Does it matter how close together we dose?

You should dose again to kill the ones that just hatched because FWE doesn't kill the eggs. I usually have problems with one coral at a time being covered in FW's so its easy for me to take the effected coral out. I usually dip it in lugols iodine and shake the coral in the dip and its amazing to see everything fall off the coral from all the FW's. Mostly keeping a clean tank with lots of flow helps to stop the spread of FW's. Its when the spread like crazy in low flow areas in mature tanks that it becomes a problem, especially with AEFW's.

I always needed two doses, a few days apart, to kill all of the red flatworms, as well as the extra 50% dosage. I was guessing that the issue was eggs, but that's only a guess.
