Nano Pic

Thought I'd share a photo of my "new" tank. Since my 75 gal cracked, I kept my favorites and sold the rest. This is the new home for my giant leather and mated marroons.

That's awesome. What are you using for biological filtration? Is there any rock in there?

Theres a couple rocks back in in the left hand corner, maybe 10 lbs worth. Lots of sponges on them fortunately. I also have one of the filter chambers packed with cheato.

Also, not seen in the picture, are 2 large GSP coloneys. I'm trying to train them to grow along the bottom, sort of an appearance of "grass" ... having trouble keeping them in 1 place long enough to attach though .. will keep trying.

I'm going to try and avoid adding any DSB, but I have a chamber in back reserved for a column of sand if I need it.

How long did it take to get the leather that size? Also how large was it already when you got it?

it was about the size of your palm when I got it. I traded it for some other coral .. can't remember. That was 4 years ago.

Its lived in my 75 gal until recently.
