Help With Coral Life Skimmer

I have a coral life super skimmer for a 60 gal and it makes so mant micro bubbles. Any suggestions on how to get rid of them. I already tried filter floss and a filter sock but still dosent get rid of them.

How long have you had it running? The skimmer may take up to a week to break in and than the micro-bubbles should stop.

if you can, set it up in your sump instead of hanging off the display tank...that could help...

Yea mine did that too. It stopped after break in. A couple of weeks.

I trashed my bubble difuser box and made one in pvc like here in this link with the mag prefilter. http://archive.reefcentral.com/forum...hreadid=899299 took a few days to get the skimmer broke in but after that its working great. And i have no more mico bubbles at all they all pop real close to the top of the water and its big bubbles and none at all in the tank.

I did the one that splateee posted make sure to drill a small hole in the top. Also make sure its just below the surface too so the bubbles come right up and pop.

IM talking about the pvc mod. Changing that plastic hose to 1 inch pvc.
