Random Shots (pics)

I finally had a chance to take some pics of my tank with the Canon Digital Rebel SLR I got for Christmas. I have tons to learn about photography and the hundreds of settings of this camera. I didn't use any advanced settings on these shots, exept for a little white balance, but I definitely don't have a handle on even that yet. This was with the stock 18-55mm lens, but I'm looking at other lenses, maybe a Canon 100mm lens.

Nice aquarium, it looks like you are a polyp fan. It looks like you ahve a very nice balance going on in your aquarium. Very nice indeed, it looks professional.

nice quote from office space by the way (I wouldn't say I've been missing it, Bob.)

Thanks, actually I added a few zoos when I first started, and they've just been spreading ever since. I'm trying to turn my focus to SPS, but I'm having a hard time getting rid of the soft stuff. (sentimental reasons) The SPS frags I have have been healthy for the most part, but not a lot of growth, but I think the new calcium reactor I added on Sunday will help a lot with that. (I'm mainly talking about the increased stablility)

Thanks everyone! I think it'll really take off now that I have a calcium reactor.
