powerhead position

Ok noted in the previous thread about the powerheads.. i didn't have enough flow.. well.. needless to say i just ordered me those deflectors for wavemakers ( think i got the name right.) well not i'm having another question. i'm wanting to get everything right for a anemone.. to which my tank as been set up for 2 years now.. my powerheads. where should i place them. one on the leftside , one in the middle blowing to the front, one to the right side? or leave em all at the back blowing to the front.. i have a 30 gal tank.

ive heard generally you want one on each corner, angled diagonally to the opposing corner of the front of the tank, so the flows will "criss-cross" so to speak...where to put the third one...thats up to you...wherever you see a dead spot i guess? i actually have my powerheads pointed slightly upward toward the center of my tank to agitate the surface...seems to get good flow underneath as well

Heavily debated topic here. Flow is really something you'll have to experiment with in your own tank. The aquascaping will play a major role in how the flow is directed. Just move them around until it feel right and you can see little to no 'dead' spaces around your aquascaping. See how the corals react and adjust accordingly.

I've wondered if it would be a good idea to direct my PH's towards the rock work. I'm often blowing my rocks with a turkey basture.
