Gallery update idea

I cannot speak for anyone else, but I would be willing to pay a yearly fee for more gallery space. Yes, yes... There are free sites that allow image hosting, but many of those do not allow external linking and/or have too many limitations. I could get a free site and use it, but many of those services have less space than I currently have in my gallery. I could pay for an outside service, but I'd rather the money go to support RC.

I'm down to less than one Mb and am out of images to delete. I've already deleted a large portion. What I have left will break too many current threads.

What I'm thinking of is an additional and optional fee, say, $5 - $10 per year per megabyte. That is orders of magnitude more than the current price per megabyte for harddrives. I doubt there would be many takers at first, but the same could be said for the Premium Memberships.

Just wondering what is wrong with say www.photobucket.com images can be up to 250kb, the allow hotlinking, it is free, and you get 10gb of bandwidth a month.

Theres nothing wrong with PhotoBucket. My idea is another way to support RC, while increasing a member's gallery space to a level that the member is willing to pay for.
