What size tank did you have it over?

I had this over a 37 Oceanic for 6 months - it filled the entire tank with light easily.
Next, I had it on a 55 gallon side-by-side with the JBJ Viper - there is little comparison - the viper does not put out the same intensity of light - the viper is a cheaper piece of equipment. This light will do great over a frag tank, 37 display, 40 display---the 55 gallon is too long for it to cover the tank by itself - it does great over half a 55 gallon.
