Whats the trick? For doing glass tanks with plastic bottoms?
So I am looking at building a tank. I am thinking of doing a cube somthing like in the range of 36x36 to 48x48. But like the idea of a plastic bottom. But is the best way to ensure the best seal between the glass and plastic?
Also what size glass would you suggest for a rimless tank? Thanks Tim

This question has been asked many many times since the AGE tank started showing up here. They use sch 80 PVC for the bottom. Its not a DIY type of job since it requires UV curing glues.
To recommend a glass size, we would also need to know the planned height of the tank. It sounds like you are not talking true cube since you only give 2 dimensions?? |
