A juvenile fungiid coral. As it grows it will drop off and start to look more like an adult.

sweet ive had that rock for almost a year and it just started growing a couple months ago. someone on a different sit said its a pest anename.

Does look like it could be a Majano Anemone, which is probably the pest anemone the other forum was talking about.

yea thats what they said it was, just forgot the name. its not a pest if theres only one is it? dont they reproduce by spliting? and if so cant i just take the extra one out if thats what it is?

It's definitely not an anemone. For some reason people in the hobby are quick to call anything colorful and with a hint of tentacles majano and anything that's brown Aiptasia. I'm almost convinced that most people don't really know what either animal looks like as this looks nothing like either one.
