Anyone in the NW burbs have a Vortech wave maker ???

Just seeing if anyone in the NW burbs has one that I could come and take a look at... I really like it but have heard they can be "loud" and just wanted to see how loud people are talking about...

Did you get that chance to check one of these out? Do you have a tank set up? I have a friend in Carol Stream and could send my spare Vortec out there one day with her and let you "play" with it for a few days.

No, I havent gotten to see one yet, Ive been a little crazy with the holidays lately.... I'm hoping to have my tank setup in the next month or so, so Im going to need to start looking in the next few weeks....

I was also thinking about doing 2 wavysea plus'es with the tunze adapters on the back wall, that might give me some really good flow too.... We shall see though...

Not to hijack, but Doug, I was thinking of ordering one of the Tunze adapters if it'll fit on my Sea-Swirl. I just need to do a bit of research first. You'd be welcome to check it out if you like.

I'm running a 6100 on a wavy sea, that and a wavebox are all I need in my 4' tank. Here's a pic from the day I set it up, got some advice from Scott in NZ as he had 2 of these running.

Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays everyone!

Exactly what I'm going to do with my 6201's. Should be some nice random flow.

How do you like the wavysea/Tunze combo sullyman?
