mantis molted, when should i feed?
my new peacock mantis just molted which explains why he hasn't been eating, just wanted to know how long i should wait to feed him so as not to agitate him too much by trying to keep feeding him.

He should begin feeding pretty soon after a molt. Try notto feed live foods for like a week though. They can hurt themselves if they strike with a rapt when its not hardened.

Offer food. If not taken quickly, try again the next day.
My peacock goes from "stop bothering me, go away" to "gimme that NOW!!!!" very noticeably, following a molt. Dan |
