Scott's Fairy Wrasse

I am looking to buy a super male Scott's Fairy Wrasse.

I have x-lg blonde naso tang and powder brown tang.

I don't think compatibility is an issue but any concern with the fish?

No problem with those two fish, but this is a relatively aggressive fish. Also, without a female, coloration will fade.

Will they mate?

If you have a female and male, with lights that simulate dusk, and an appropriate tank, they will mate. Catching the eggs and raising the spawn is much more difficult.

Hi, I have a male Scotts fairy wrasse in my 190. I saw a female Scotts on the Diver's den and I ordered it for "Scottie". Well, he killed her! This wrasse gets along with another smaller wrasse put in the tank at the same time as him, and he does not bother any other smaller fish in the tank......don't know why he did not like the female.

They must be introduced together. MUST. Otherwise it will not tolerate one. One can introduce a female first but it would have to be small or it may be transitioning.
