What is proper for snails?

any one tell me? What is the best way to add snails to a reef tank? Q-teen. if so what do you feed them while they are in there?
or can you just give them a fresh water dip and add them directly to the reef?

Or do you even have to do either?

I personally don't do either of those, and would recommend against a fresh water dip.

I float the bag in the tank to temp acclimate, and then drip acclimate them in a bucket. About an hour later I pick them out of the bucket and place in the tank.

I do what Toddrtrex does. You could quarantine them though if you wanted to be extra cautious. It is possible to bring in parasites or other unwanted items on anything wet.
