*Mac Users* Reef keeping software interest?

Just seeing if anyone is interested in an OS X program for logging aspects of your reef tank... Similar to ReefCon. I am thinking about developing a freeware program on the side if there is enough interest.

Gotta look out for fellow Mac Users/Reefers

Are you talking about this being used with a controller for automatic logging?

This would be nice I am going to be getting a Aquacontroller JR soon. But a feature like that would be a ways down the road and would completely depend on a large demand/userbase since thats quite a bit of work to implement, if there is enough interest you never know!

I would love some good software! i would happily pay for software that would run my controller on my mac. Currently, the free ware version for the aquacontroller III is flakey and buggy at best.

Well if you guys want to list some features that you would be interested in I can go from there. I would definitely be interested in supporting logging from controllers etc...

I like most features of aquanotes, i just hate its reliability and lack of OSX support. What i use most is the graphing features and programing the controller. In otherwords, i would love to see a user freindly aquanotes for OSX or lets call it mitchnotes......

I'd definitely be interested in at least giving it a test drive.

I'm all for more aquarium software for the Mac!

For those of you that don't know about this program, there is a shareware program for the Mac for aquarium logging.

http://www.everydaysoftware.net/maquarium/

it doesn't have a built-in database but not really sure how useful something like that is anyway given easy access of information on the net. I've been using it to keep track of my aquarium parameters for the last year or so and have been finding it useful though really, almost any database program (or good spreadsheet) would be able to do something similar ....

Mitch - if you can write your software and incorporate logging from AquaControllers/ReefKeepers, I'd definitely switch!

Yup that would be cool... I'd like something that focusses on the live stock catalogue of what you have, illnesses, treatments, observations etc.
