Cloudy water?

Hi guys,

I finnaly got my water and live rock in my Tank. When I first put it in the water got cloudy wich I expected. I added some Poly fiber filter pad to my sump to help remove the large particles. Within a few hours it was getting very clear. I removed the poly and went to bed.

When I woke up this morning I notice the tank had a distinct white haze to it. I added poly again and its been filtering all day. As of now the water still has alot of white haze in it.

My question is, could I already be getting a Bacteria bloom from the Live rock? It ws fully cured and was only out of water for 45 minutes for the transport home in a thermal box.

If its not a bacteria bloom, why isnt the poly fiber picking it up and filtring it out? What other options do I have to eliminate it.

Thanks

It's dead stuff comming out of the rock. In a couple days this will go away because the rock will absorb it back into itself. Strange but true.
