zoas open under moon light

i was wondering if it is normal for zoas to be open under my moon lights does that mean that they are to bright or is it that they like like all the time cause some will close up and some stay open all night anyone else have this happen to them

When I Had an LED my usually stayed open. I think they are allot brighter then the actual moon, but I'm not sure of the effects.

ya they look cool under the moon light and hopefully they will grow like crazy with my new light

Zoas and palys will open under a hint of light, your situation is normal. I have a dual set of PFO 1 watt moonlights and the effect is stunning when I lower them to just above the water. I can get full and complete polyp extension with all of my zoas and palys with my moonlights alone.
