NJ Reefers Club Frag Swap & Symposium

New Jersey Reefers Club is throwing an all out Frag Swap & Symposium. We're flying speakers in from around the country and recruiting local stores, On-line stores, and local area Fraggers as vendors for the swap. We've gotten some excellent donations thus far with far more on their way. The raffles should be great.

To anyone who keeps a frag system, I say consider getting a table (or 1/2 or sharing a table with another reefer)! With a table you'll be able to setup a tank. NJRC went to Manhattan's swap with a tank full of digi and made our money back 10-fold.

Hope to see some of you there!

That might work out well. I should have a good amount to trade by then. We should also talk about our own meeting in Sept and perhaps then discuss future trades.

Who all is still planning on going? I HATE driving in NJ. I plan on fragging up some things this week and will make sure to hold on to some things to trade if we are going.

I just ran across this thread:

I'd really like to get my hands on a rose anemone.

Hey Jon,

I am interested in going to NNJ with you. I think it would be fun and I may learn something while I'm at it. If you like I can even drive. Let me know what you think.

Hey, has anyone from DRC registered yet and ordered their tickets? We have until before Oct. 15 to purchase them with their online RSVP page to get the $20 price. after that it goes up to $25 and $30 at the door. I will have to do mine this week. I might have some frags to trade by then.
If you are going, be sure to get your tickets before the 15th.

I am definitely planning on going to this. I am also willing to drive anyone who wants to ride with as long as they don't mind riding in a smoke friendly car.

Who's coming up to the swap? The forum over on NJRC (HERE) is bustling with fragging and swapping activity.

Check it out!

I just found that link today. I had been looking on fragswapper and wondering if there was more then a handful of people coming. Seems like all the action is happening in the NJ forum and I missed it. I'm still planning on coming unless there is something big comes up. Can't wait.

Registration page is HERE. If you're paid by Monday the 15th you get the 20$ early bird admission price. After that it goes up.

More than 115 people registered so far and still adding 5-10 per day! We're expecting it to hit 150-200 by the time the swap rolls around.

I have to go play with the RSVP page in the morning and get my ticket. I have always had a hard time with that swapper site. but if i come with frags. so be it. im sure something will happen at the swap. sounds like there are lots of high quality frags available for starter stock.

Can't wait!

Ken, I wouldn't worry about fragswapper for this one seems as if NJRC forum their website is where all the action is. There is one thing on fragswapper I want, but it is way above my price range a bit expensive for what it is anyway.
