Redbug treatment = flatworm ?

I found ALOT ppl got flatworm after they treated the redbug, but i really don't see any logic here...

is it just bad luck or some type or something else ???

well, since I dont think killing redbugs has the effect of creating life in the form of flatworms, I would say the people had two problems to begin with

RB are like Syphilis and AFEWs are like aids, you get them from trading with random partners.. they are transmitted with similar behavior

There have been a couple of threads on this subject over the years. I can remember one that got pretty long and many people speculated that red bugs actually kept the AEFW's in check. IMO a more logical explanation is that people become much more aware of what is going on with their corals and in particular to the presence of parasites on their corals after treating for red bugs. In turn they recognize the signs of AEFW's that they hadn't seen before.
