Will electronic MH ballast save much electricity?

I have dual 175 watt MH's running off an older Custom Sea Life dual ballast which is a pulse start I believe. If I switched to Icecap electronic ballasts, would there be a significant difference in energy consumption? I can't find any info on the ballasts I have now because of Custom Sea Life not being in operation any more.
