Please help

I have a royal gamma and i just put in a blue sided fairy wrasse. The royal gamma has been chasing the wrasse around. I was told that they would get along. Any suggestions on what i can do I just shut off the lights to get them to separate but what else or will it work its way out? Thanks!

My guess is the chasing will stop soon. The gramma is probably no match for the wrasse, but since it was there first, is being pushy to exert itself. If the behavior continues, try moving some of the rockwork around. This can throw off territories and sometimes reduce aggression.
