PetCo going out of biz in Richmond Mall area

Some great deals over there: most things are up to 30% to 40% off, and they'll probably only get better until their Jan 5 close date. Lots of the big tanks are gone already, but I picked up some restocking supplies pretty cheap (filters, test strips, etc), and I have my eye on some other things if the price drops even more (possible makings of a cheap DIY 5gal side along fuge). The only thing that irritated me was that they have one product there that even with 40% is still the same price as at Walmart... either they jacked up the price before the closeout sale, or they were always overcharging.

I normally don't go into these sorts of stores because of the way they treat their livestock (they even sell baby horseshoe crabs to unsuspecting folks, as if they'll really stay that small or be appropriate for a normal reef tank) , but 30% off on test strips and airline and such worked out pretty well.

also the ones in canton and boardman are going out too. there are 2 in columbus closing too, if there is anyone from the columbus group reading.

Canton is cleaned out, no livestock left. A couple tanks but thats about it. Most of the stuff is well overpriced you can go to petsmart and get it cheaper than it is with 40% off at Petco. You say its closing offer discounts and raise the prices every one goes nuts over a sale.

Yeah, that seems to be what I've found, though some deals on cheaper stuff.
