Glueing corner overflow....

I'm adding a small plexiglass corner overflow box around my rear mounted bulkheads to quiet down my overflows. The box is only about 6" high so it doesn't go all the way down like a normal corner.

I will be using clear silicone to hold the box in place like normal. Could I use some 5 minute epoxy to just "tack" the box in place and hold it while the silicone cures?

Otherwise, what is the best way to hold the boxes in place while the silicone sets.

Thanks in advance.

Is the tank already filled?

Silicone needs 24 hours to cure. If the tank is empty, I've used 3/4" or 1" PVC to make stands to hold stuff in place.... you could also try cutting up some 2x4's If the tank is full, then you'll have to do the PVC and make sure you don't get any on the water for 24 hours.
