Feeding Question

I feed either frozen brine or mysis almost every day. A couple of times a week I also feed newly hatched brine shrimp. When I feed the thawed and washed frozen product I leave the circulation pumps running but when I feed the live brine I've been turning the circulation pumps and skimmer off for 30-45 minutes. I'm not sure why I'm doing this, except that maybe I think that because the live brine is so much smaller than the other foods and stays in the tank so much longer that it'll get pulled out by the skimmer. Am I nuts? I've begun to wonder about what I do. What do you think?

Bump. So, should I turn off circulation and skimmer when feeding newly hatched brine shrimp? Some body out there must have an answer.

I always turn off my return pump when I feed my fish. I leave on the circulation ones though
