Help with Pocillopora
Hi,
I have a pink Pocillopora damicornis (according to my supplier: liveaquaria) that is losing its color at the base of the stalks. I assume that this is a problem, but I need help in determining what is causing it to happen and what I can do to save the specimen. Thanks, Fred |

Low light and low flow will both cause this. They are light and flow loving corals that grow very dense and if you cant supply the light/flow to the middle or bottom of the coral it will die off in those areas.

Hi mixed reefer,
Thanks for your help. I will move it to a more favorable location. I just hope that it is not too late. Fred |
