How long will a Juv. Chevron retain its color ?
Anyone have any idea how long a Chevron tang starting at say 2.5" would retain most of its juvenile characteristics ?
thanks.

I wonder what fish this thread might be about?
I have been thinking about getting one of those too since they are so small and I am guessing they should keep that color for at least year or two. |

I have the same question, don't know if I care for the mature color of the chevron.

There is no way to tell. Size doesn't mean much. Unless it tells you how old/mature it is, then it is a crap shoot. In any case, it will keep the adult colors WAY longer than the juvi.

around 5" it will begin to turn. I've never seen a 5" juvi. biggest juvi i have seen was 4"
