I based ratings when I initially built it on the Euroreef ratings since they were nearly identical (despite looking more like a Deltec) and this one was rated for a 100g. The equivelant HSM and the like would rate it much higher....

Good question- The skimmer in the picture has a twist lock flange but that is not included in the kit...Sorry- Forgot to mention that...

It still looks like a very complete diy kit.
Good luck. |

Update:
Apparently I lost the ceramic shaft for the pump so the price for the above is reduced to $170. I'll leave the pump in in case the buyer can find a shaft for the pump. Both kits are still available.... |

OK, the deal fell through so these are available again. Twist lock flanges are available for them but they will be $30 extra each so we're looking at $180 shipped with the twistlock flange and $150 shipped without them....

Does the collection cup have a removable top for cleaning?... Also, I was trying to find the Deltec skimmer you said this was similar too, but I couldn't find anything... could you show me a link?
Thanks |

Hi,
So what is kit 1 and kit 2?? How much more $$ to complete the build? Are ALL the holes drilled so all you have to do is glue it together?? Kit 1 and kit 2, is one LESS pump? I can buy a pump just would need to know make and model. Thanks for your help, DC

Thanks-
At this point neither of them have pumps. I couldn't find the shaft for the Gen-X 1500 that was bought for it. I have one currently running with the 1500 and it works well but I think it would ROCK with a 2400 or a Sedra 5000. The parts you would need would be the pump and some weld-on. PM me if interested.... |
