when can i put fish in my tank?!

How long should i wait before i put fish in my tank after its all been set up??!!

until it cycles what all your parameters are right then you can there really is not set time diff for all

id say give or take 6-8 weeks. i waited 8 just to play it safe and my tank i think is GREAT!

Can't you buy the fish and stick it QT? By the time thats done you should be ready for at least one fish in the main rig.

wait a long time. let everything settle and balance. then, wait some more. patience is HUGE in this hobby, and you'll be glad you did. make sure everything is right. get a refractometer for your salinity (about $30 or so on eBay). measure nitrites/nitrates, pH, ammonia for starters. if you have really good levels for 6 weeks or so you should be ready to drop in some hardy starter fish like clowns.
